This was the first step I took. Luckily there was still some nice juicy keyword rich domains available. I snapped up a nice .com.

I always prefer .com domains to the cheaper.info. I also like .com as its well known and I prefer it to net or org.

I wanted a domain with seo contest and 2008 in it so found this. Uploaded some funds into namecheap and off I went. A quick google search for the February 2008 namecheap coupon which is FEBLUV by the way. 8 or so bucks and I was well on my way.

Added an addon domain in cpanal, straight over to fantastico and installed wordpress.  Within 10 minutes I had my contest entry all set up.

I am not a professional. I do basic, cheap non blackhat SEO to my own sites. I have never entered an SEO competition before but here goes. I shall be blogging about my progress.
